What We're About

Watch our recent interview on Harford TV to learn what we do and why!

Courage Begins with Connection

A few years ago, Layla walked into one of our events unsure of what to expect. Struggling with addiction and uncertain where to turn, she sat quietly in the back. But as she listened to a speaker share a raw, honest story—something clicked. Not shame. Not judgment. Hope.

That night was a turning point. What Layla found wasn’t just a meeting. It was a room full of laughter, hugs, music, and healing. She wasn’t alone anymore.

Today, she’s a mentor, a speaker, and one of many women whose lives have been transformed through Revival for Recovery.

Mission Statement

Our mission at Revival for Recovery is to empower women and men on
their path to recovery from life’s challenging and difficult circumstances. We
do this by serving others and by bringing together the resources of our local
community so that we can provide emotional, mental, physical and spiritual
support and healing to those in need.

What We Offer

Speaker Events That
Spark Change

We amplify real recovery stories from women who’ve walked the path. These talks break stigma and inspire healing—at rehab centers, recovery houses, and community events.

Community Recovery Events

From sober socials to gatherings on local farms, we create healing-focused events that remind women that recovery can be joyful, empowering, and full of connection.

Fundraising with
Heart

We organize local fundraisers that do more than raise money—they build sisterhood. We collect and deliver seasonal clothing, food, toys, and essentials to sober living homes that support women and their children in Harford County.

Peer Support & Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteer team includes women who understand the recovery journey firsthand. They offer mentorship, hands-on help, and a steady reminder: you don’t have to do this alone.

Join the Movement to Empower Women in Recovery

For Donors

Your gift helps us host events, support women in sober living, and provide resources where they’re needed most in Harford County.

For Volunteers

Whether you can give an hour or a weekend, your time directly supports women building a new life.

Why It Matters

Recovery isn’t a straight line—and for women, it often comes with unique challenges. Many are also mothers, caretakers, or survivors of trauma.

That’s why we build spaces of compassion, dignity, and joy—so every woman feels seen, supported, and celebrated. We believe recovery isn’t just possible—it can be powerful, fulfilling, and even fun.
